    • Account Exectutive

Green Light Expediting seeks a Account Executive to join our sales team. Based in our LIC office, the Account Executive is responsible for selling Green Light Expediting’s services to new customers within a target account list that will be created with the aid of senior staff members.

Responsibilities

Green Light Expediting Account Executives are responsible for prospecting and securing meetings with their target accounts in the Architectural/Construction/Real Estate industry, learning how each prospect can benefit from our services, then delivering a tailored overview and presentation of what sets us apart from our competitors.

Successful new business hunters at Green Light are high-energy individuals who quickly identify the key decision makers that control who is hired as consultants.

The AE’s duties include:

  • Contacting and establishing relationships with target companies via social media, email, and phone.
  • Delivering concise, effective presentations on Green Light’s services, both via web conference and in person.
  • Providing timely and targeted follow up communication.
  • Obtaining RFI/RFPs.
  • Logging activity, contacts, and opportunities in our CRM system.
  • Accurately forecasting their business.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • A successful track record selling services to large construction industry companies and exceeding quota.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a self-directed, extremely fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • The legal, unrestricted right to work in the United States without sponsorship from a company.
  • Interest and general understanding of Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
  • Ability to solve problems and adapt to technology and a marketplace that evolves by the day.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
    • Project Manager

Green Light Expediting seeks a Project Manager to join our team. Based in our LIC office, The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing permit expediting projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

Green Light Expediting PMs are responsible for taking on new project from our clients, managing the approval, permit, and sign-off process, assigning required tasks to our office and field staff, and keeping the client in the know throughout the entire process.

Successful new PMs at Green Light are high-energy individuals who can multitask and pay attention to details in a fast-paced environment

The PM’s duties include:

  • Requesting required information to prepare applications
  • Assisting administrative staff with application preparation if required.
  • Coordinating signatures on forms
  • Assigning tasks to field staff so project can be filed and permitted
  • Attending plan examinations and resolving objections with client and DOB.
  • Coordinating sign-off process

Minimum Qualifications:

  • DOB Class 2 ID
  • Previous experience at a permit expediting company
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a self-directed, extremely fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • The legal, unrestricted right to work in the United States without sponsorship from a company.
  • In-depth understanding of NYC Building Codes and Zoning Resolution
  • Ability to solve problems and adapt to technology and an industry that evolves by the day.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
    • Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities

Green Light Expediting AAs are responsible for processing incoming/outgoing packages, answering phones, preparing applications, updating spreadsheets, scanning, faxing, and filing.

Successful new AAs at Green Light are high-energy, organized individuals who can multitask and pay attention to details in a fast-paced environment

The AA’s duties include:

  • Preparing DOB forms for permit expediting projects
  • Logging incoming packages and sending outgoing packages
  • Coordinating signatures on forms
  • Assigning tasks to field staff so projects can be filed and permitted
  • Answering phones
  • Conducting research
  • Organizing filing system
  • Preparing spreadsheets

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience at a permit expediting company is a major plus
  • Excellent listening, verbal, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • The legal, unrestricted right to work in the United States without sponsorship from a company.
  • Ability to solve problems and learn quickly
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
