Depending on your project, you may need someone to supervise the construction to meet site safety requirements.

  • A Site Safety Manager is required when 15 or more stories are under construction or demolition, OR when the construction or demolition site is 100,000 square feet or more.

  • A Site Safety Coordinator is necessary when 10 to 14 stories are under construction or demolition.

  • A Construction Superintendent is necessary when a building with 9 stories or fewer is under construction or demolition.

  • A Concrete Safety Manager is required when at least 2,000 cubic yards of concrete is being poured.   He must be fully registered with the department and on site during all concrete operations.
